RBC Gateway is one of a few office skyscrapers built in the Twin Cities this century. The building consists of 37 stories and is connected to the skyway system via the Central Library. The project brings 1.2 million SF of new construction to the Minneapolis skyline and includes a street-level restaurant, approximately 531,000 SF of office, 222 Four Seasons hotel rooms, 34 private residential condos, and 17,000 SF of plaza and green space. The office tenants include the U.S. headquarters of RBC Wealth Management, seven of the Pohlad Companies, JLL Minneapolis,  Castlelake, Hyde Development and Norwest Equity Partners.

The site was once the location of the historically famous Nicollet Hotel which, had a century run of being one of Minneapolis’ most regal and grand hotels hosting luminaries like Dwight Eisenhower, Harry Truman, Judy Garland, Glenn Mill and JFK.
